This collection by Detlet Ghelhaar was inspired by Berlin. The Weimar Republic in the 1920’s brought forth an exciting free spirit of creativity and culture. During this time a golden age of Avant-Garde bloomed and grew leading to the Bauhaus and many other artistic and cultural innovations.
This spirit enraptured Berlin and gave the city its vibrancy and energy during the 1920’s. This collection reflects the spirit, color and creative exploration that defined Berlin then and now.
