Erika Fung is a Toronto, Canada born and raised hairstylist and headpiece artist-designer.
After receiving a diploma in fine arts specializing in oil painting, she moved on to start her hair career studying at the Aveda Institute and Academy.
She won the NAHA award avant-garde 2015 her first year entering and was a finalist Avant-garde 2016
Fung’s creations are truly unique.
What or who inspires you?
I am inspired by art, installations, inner emotions and feelings.
Peter Gray, Takayuki Shibata and Masa Honda are big inspirations to me.
What are your favorite styling products at the moment?
L’Oréal Elnett hairspray and Shu Umera art of hair volume maker.
