In honor of international women’s day, Barbie has released its new line of “Sheroes” which pays tribute to heroines of there time.
The first released are Amelia Earhart the first female aviator who crossed the Atlantic, the Mexican artist and activist Frida Kahlo and Katherine Johnson a pioneer in mathematics who broke barriers of race and color.
The inspiring women series will follow up with real-life sheros such as Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman director), Chloe Kim(gold snowboarding medalist USA ), Nicola Adams (boxing champion UK), Bindi Irwin(conservationist Australia), Helene Darroze(chef France), Hui Ruogi (volleyball China), Layla piegaysh (designer Germany), Cagla Kubat(windsurfer Turkey), Lorena Ochoa(pro golfer Mexico), Sara Gama(soccer player Italy), Yuan Yuan Tan (ballerina China) and Ibtihaj Mohammed(fencing Olympian USA). All dolls will come with educational information about the empowering women.
Let’s hope they might also have nipples and realistic body shapes 🙂
