Wafrica

In articles by Natalie Lynn Hyndman

We love these beautiful Wafrica Kimonos made in collaboration by French based artist Cameroon born Serge Mouanque with the famous ODASHO  creators from Osaka Japan who have over 150 years kimono designing  experience.
The designs combine traditional authentic Japanese aesthetic with west African rhythmic density and colorful vibrations.
“Wafrica encapsulates both west Africa and Japanese ancient sophisticated aesthetic to create a new territory, redefining our sense of origin”
