Hoooray!!!! California is the first state to pass legislation that will ban the sales of cosmetics brands that have been tested on animals.
The California legislative passed senate bill 1249, also known as the California cruelty-free cosmetics act.
If as expected, its signed by Gov. Jerry Brown, it will go in effect as of Jan 1, 2020
